Officer Meeting Minutes Oct. 16, 2006

Halloween Meet
1. Will take place on Sunday Nov. 5
  a. Officers need to arrive by 2:15
  b. Encouraged to dress up
2. UCLA and Davis are coming for sure- still waiting for confirmations from a few others
3. Necessities
  a. Decorations (Enough from previous years; headed by Shannon)
  b. Laptop for scoring (Paul working on that)
  c. Goody bags (Shannon)
  d. Awards (Have)
  e. Trainer (Keith Coach might be possible option)
4. Party
 a. Change to a pre-party instead of after-party to adjust to UCLA watching football game and getting into the gym late on Sunday
  b. Saturday afternoon location still pending
   1. Ben’s House
   2. Andrés’s House

Any other suggestions, talk to Paul or Shannon

Paperwork
1. Review procedures for new members, payment plan, etc.
  a. Location of drop-box for collected dues
  b. Everyone on paid list must fill out participant info form
  c. Mark “W” when waiver is completed and find people who haven’t paid/filled out form
  d. Students/non-students still get 1st day free
  e. After that, $5 visiting fee

Fundraising
1. Gymnastics Club Home-cooked meal
  a. possibly one/month
2. Basketball Concessions (Andrés)
3. Baby-sitting Night (Andrés)
  a. possibly one/month with a $20/kid fee
  b. Parent’s Night out where we would plan stuff for their kids
  c. either going through RSF or GBR
  d. fliers and publicity will come later

Officer Bonding
1. Bring ideas at next meeting

  a. Scheduled for Monday October 30th at 9:00 pm
