Club Meeting Minutes September 22, 2009

Code of Conduct needs to be condensed to 1 page. Michael/Ali, please email me the
changes you made to the original so I can work on making it more concise assuming
unless someone else prefers to do it.

1) BABYSITTING FUNDRAISER
Next one scheduled for Sat Oct 10. Julie, Katie, Lena, Ali, Andrew, Priya and Jaeho
have volunteered to help. Anne will boogie over, hopefully LCL in tow, ASAP.
Julie will send Sharyl and Andrew the flier file for advertising purposes. Anyone
who coaches at Golden Bear, please hand our mini-fliers out to kids in your classes.

2) LASER TAG
We are considering hosting this activity the Fri/Sat of the least popular home
football game.
Julie and/or Michael will discuss this as a possible fundraiser with Trineice on Thu.

3) COACH FEES
In consideration of the fact volunteer coaches are saving a great deal of money by
getting a free CRC and gym club membership free, we will require that they cover the
expense of being First Aid/CPR and Safety certified.
The club will cover 1/2 the expense of these trainings for our paid coaches.

4) BINDER SYSTEM
Trineice has indicated online payment for club dues ought to be available in 1 week.
We will have to be printing out the lists showing which members have paid dues and
registered online. Michael plans to do this about twice a week.

As far as trial visits: since we conduct a trial period and it has ended, students
may attend 1 practice for $5 before committing to purchasing a CRC membership and
paying dues; as the CRC is more costly for non-students and we are still working on
a resolution with the University, we will allow non-students 3 X $5 trial visits
before they are obligated to purchase a CRC and pay the remainder of their dues.

Lena will formulate a printout to keep track of new members and their visits as well
as to record their email, so we can get everyone on the listserve.

5) HALLOWEEN MEET
The Halloween meet will be held Sunday Nov 1. Please plan to arrive at the gym at
3:30 to help set up. Open warmups will begin at 4:15.
Lena has a to-do list for the meet which she will email to the officers and club
members who can help out. Please respond letting her know which task you can help
with.
Does anyone know a student athletic trainer? We will need one present for the
duration of the meet (we pay them $20/hr).

6) UNIFORM STUFF
Anne needs to email Bill to confirm leos were ordered.
Please email Lena regarding warmups, hoodie and gym bag orders. If you decide you
want a competitive leo, email Anne.
Instead of "gymnastics club" our gear will say "club gymnastics."
Michael has hot access to a Tshirt press. I'm guessing that means we have the
ability to create more, original Cal gymnastics club, I mean, Club Gymnastics T's.

7) COMMUNICATION/YOU DON'T WANT TO PISS OFF JULIE OR NO SUSHI FOR YOU
Seriousy, communication cannot fail. Notification of pending action should be sent
out at the very least to Julie if not all officers to avoid miscommunications or
larger problems.

8) WEBSITE
Justin has done a stellar job of spiffing up the website. If you haven't submitted
a picture to him yet, he will facebook stalk you and find the one of you and your
aunt with a cabbage patch collection on the antique road show. . .
As historian, George is in charge of updating the bulletin board. For
procrastination purposes, this task is more likely to fall to Lena or Anne.
