Club Meeting Minutes June 18, 2009

1. OFFICER ELECTIONS
We're planning to hold officer elections the 2nd week of the fall semester.

2. TUESDAY PRACTICES
We voted to support Julie's vision for Tuesday practices.
Not exclusive in terms of competitors only, rather for gymnastics
only . . . will be handing out copies of FIG to the capoeira peeps. . .
JK. Someone (Mike?) was going to send an email out to the listserve to
clarify this policy for the rest of the club.

3. FRIDAY PRACTICES
To avoid scheduling hassles, etc, these will be impromptu and more
on the down low for now. When we have personnel to open/close, we'll
have practice, otherwise we won't sweat it!

4. BABYSITTING NIGHT/S
So far we may have to cap kids around 32 if we're to be official
unless we can get another GBRC employee to help out as ratio is
supposed to be 7-8munchkins: 1 GBRC employee.

Mike DuBois is to ask Cari-BarryBear for permission to use the
facility and will hopefully be emailing the team parents for advertising.
Lena or Julie will email him something to forward tonight? Kristen will
be emailing the parents who provided contact emails last time and will
send necessary correspondence to Cheryl. Lena will email Leesa to ask
her to forward it to all parents on list. George will email everyone
for no reason or over fishnet stockings.

Anne is to make a new sign in sheet form to include space for parents to
write email addys. Lena is going to check if we need more plates/cups/prozac
and let Anne know if it's necessary to purchase more.

If possible we are going to try to clear Aug 1 and Sept 5 for future Babysitting nights.
Mike DuBois reiterated that as long as we clean up after the pizza mess and
put all the mats properly away, getting future approval for the building should not be a problem.

5. BUDGET
Anne fails as treasurer. . . should have picked up report from Trinese,
so we'll deal with this at next meeting.

6. SUMMER SCHEDULE
Lena's going to look at dates everyone is away and figure this out. Go Lena!
Lena (in case you forgot) away June 26-July 12.
Kristen away June 19-July 13.
Julie gone in July.
Anne gone July 23-27.

7. ANDRES
His yelling, caustic and rude treatment of officers, acting like a
buffoon, and sexual harrasment of members will no longer be tolerated.
Julie, Lena and Anne will be drafting a formal letter of complaint and warning Friday evening.

8. SUMMER DUES
$50 community, $35 students. Justin will check that website is
consistent with this (and put up info regarding gymnastics-only Tuesdays).
ONLY completely new faces will be permitted 1 trial visit for $5. Anyone
else must pay dues in full to workout. Lena will put up info regarding
this policy on our bulliten board. If someone shows up w/o the money,
ask them for as much as they can pay then and that the rest must be paid
the next time they come.
