Club Meeting September 27,2005

April 6-8 @ Marriott Convention Center
Possible schedule: set up Wed, possible practice Thursdays, 3 sessions Friday, finals & banquet Saturday
We only have to pay for the convention center for Fri and Sat
One set of equipment from Haas Pavilion
Still lacking one high bar (trying to get the high bar from Golden Bear, but the J.O. kids will be training for Nationals)
Lacking a second floor (trying to use Davis floor but the head coach has liability issues so we have to get the liability contract together first)
Free men’s judges, so we save money!! (still working on this)
Talk to Christy about getting women’s judges
So far ~25 schools (2 or 3 hundred gymnasts) have said they are coming and we still haven’t heard from some of the teams that always come (like Texas)
Looking into having discounted airplane tickets available
We need ~400 people to come to break even
Banquet is going to be held in the host hotel (still working on the menu ~$25/dinner ?)
T-shirts (ect.) possibilities include: American Apparel $7/shirt with print; item sponsor; some company that Crystal and Lena got a flier from ~$5/shirt

Planning to fix the floor (dead spots, ect) next Thurs @ 8pm

Elect new Fundraising Chair = Liz
Her committee = Emily, Michelle, Cheryl
Possible fundraiser = bball concessions

Potluck Welcome Party to be held Sat Oct. 15 @ 7pm

Program Only Membership is no longer available (issue for non-student members)
Temporary solution = if your membership had expired, wait on paying dues until we get a more permanent solution
