About the Cal Gymnastics Club
Overview
The University of California, Berkeley Cal Gymnastics Club is a student-run club for students and members of the local community. The club provides facilities and coaching for gymnasts of all levels in a collegial and relaxed atmosphere. It also provides opportunity for competition in the NAIGC (National Association of Intercollegiate Gymnastics Clubs). The club exists as part of the University of California, Berkeley’s Cal Sport Clubs program through the department of Recreational Sports.
Schedule and Location
The Cal Gymnastics Club meets four nights a week, on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings, 8:30PM - 10:30PM, at the Golden Bear Recreational Center on the Clark Kerr Campus of the University of California, Berkeley.

Coaching
Coaching is provided each evening from 9PM-10PM.
Coaching schedule for fall 2006:
Monday: Mike Ashe (some weeks) and Anja Garcia
Tuesday: Kyle Litow and Anja Garcia
Wednesday: Kyle Litow and Anja Garcia
Thursday: Sean Bryan
Governance
Elected student officers, including a president, vice president / developmental officer, treasurer, safety officer, secretary, fundraising chair, and historian provide Club leadership.

Officers of the club are elected each spring to a one-year term. Any Cal student can run for office. Community members are not allowed to be officers due to sport club regulations. For more information about the club's current officers, see our officer page.
